Pentatone’s characteristic lush sound coupled with pristine clarity enables Swan Lake, heard here in its 1877 world premiere version, to make its full emotional point. Jurowski’s finely-tuned ear and his sense of detail coupled with an urgency to his music-making comes through in spades here.
